Growing up in a Lebanese family, I’m used to over-the-top BBQ’s and long, boozy dinners. These have always been my fondest memories. Sitting around a table with my family, laughing, yelling and eating some bloody good food.

The idea for The Sharing Table has been on the boil for a few years. I wanted to recreate those past dining experiences on a larger scale, with people who may of never met before, over food inspired by mum and grandmother.

Part of the ethos is to share ideas and swap recipes. I love and am open to share my recipes. I always feel quite honoured when someone wants to cook something I’ve made before.

There’s no better shared experience then around a dining table with a lovingly prepared meal.
